Costco needed to drive online sales for by creating a social referral program to increase awareness, acquire new emails, and new members.


Nuvi developed a real-time outreach strategy built around keywords, personalized responses, and coupon sharing. To combat any negative sentiment, a social customer care solution was also implemented.


Each month, on average, Costco received: ● 132,572 email marketing opt-ins. ● 30,617 coupon codes redeemed driving $8,280,272 in orders. ● 17.6% of orders were first-time shoppers, driving $1,632,477. ● 8.5 minutes spent on campaign site per user.
